ADHD

ADHD often shows up as attention that slips, or as the gap between knowing what you need to do and actually doing it. Executive functioning is usually part of that, including organization, time, and getting through multi-step tasks.

How Athamind can help

We work with adults. Care is fully virtual and available across Ontario, with no office to travel to.

For ADHD on its own, we recommend an ADHD Assessment. It uses validated diagnostic tools and a clinical interview. The written report can support accommodation requests for school or work. If anxiety, depression, or trauma is also part of the question, a Full Comprehensive Assessment looks at more than one condition together.

Psychotherapy is a different service. Sessions are 50 minutes with a registered psychotherapist, and they focus on day-to-day strategies for attention, organization, and follow-through. Therapy does not produce the written assessment report.
